Here is an event that we will require that people RSVP for. "Sometime" in June, the boys from Linn are making their way here to demonstrate the new Linn Akurate and Klimax DS series. Right after that we will follow through with the public during regular shop hours.

It is no secret that the market is heading towards server user interface, encoding their discs on hard drive, and uploading them to DS type systems. Dowloading on the net is also where the consumer is at as well. The reasons why that that the industry has chosen to address this issue is that, with the reduction of mechanical-induced jitter is reduced quite a bit thereby increasing information retrieval thereby increasing musicality where that terms has not often been used in that arena.

Several magazines in North America are taking note of this "relatively" new phenomena is effectively a new frontier for high end audio to be . Several reviews such as in UHF and others are soon to follow. Stereophile has just done the Klimax review that is priced just under 20,000.00, and yes it will be at our shop. As far as "new" phenomena in digital technology – this one might stick because it addresses both increased musicality and convenience….and the idea that collecting music might itself under "attack". A perfect storm or is it welcome to the future.

Now, because of the limited space that we will allocate in our shop, seating is limited. Those who exhibit any interest in our Linn DS line-up is advised to reserve their space. Priority is given to our clients and all remaining space is on a first come first "reserve" basis. Remember, there will be follow through after the show, so we will dmo said Ds system.
